The TecTemp HD injection cooler is used to cool steam through the controlled injection of water. The TecTemp HD is used in a wide range of energy and steam generation and distribution applications (thermal power plants, steam plants in industrial applications, chemical plants).

Anwendung
Typical applications in thermal power plants:
- Control of the steam temperature in the waste heat boiler
- Establishing a constant steam temperature for the steam turbine
- Conditioning of process steam for industrial processes
- Cooling of the steam temperature in a steam converting valve (controlled pressure reduction and cooling within a turbine bypass system or to convert the steam pressure and temperature from HP to IP or LP or to condenser conditions)
In other applications, injection coolers are also used to cool other gaseous media:
- ammonia
- propane

- exhaust gas
