Steam converting stations are valves that combine pressure reduction and steam cooling in one valve. TEC artec offers steam conversion stations in various designs, from corner fittings to straight-through valves to Z-valves. For excellent water injection/injection, the multi-stage pressure reductions are combined with injection coolers, propellant steam nozzles or ring cooler systems. For autonomous control or process control integration, we also offer controls and measuring devices (pressure/temperature, flow rates) with the required safety devices.

Steam converting stations have several tasks:
- Steam flow rate regulation
- subcritical vapor pressure reduction
- Regulation of the outlet-side steam temperature by adding/injecting water
Classic applications include:
- Turbine bypass (steam turbine)
- Provision of process steam
Steam conversion stations are supplemented by measurement and control systems for pressure and temperature monitoring (steam test bed, MSR equipment)), condenser inlets
